Q&As
You guys will have to wait and see! Countdown to June 14...
2) Where am I going after graduation?
West Coast tour (San Francisco-Yosemite-Los Angeles-Las Vegas-Grand Canyon) with mom and dad and then back to Malaysia =(. I'll be so poor at the end of this trip (since I'm paying for most of it as a gift to my parents)!
3) What happened to my "Hitler" scar?
The "Hitler" is now pink (clearly discolored) but no obvious signs of scaring. THANK YOU GOD!
4) How am I moving my stuff back to Malaysia?
I have NO FREAKING idea. 4 years worth of stuff is A LOT of stuff. Throwing away 4 years worth of notes is EXTREMELY heartbreaking *sob* since I wrote and rewrote them, arrange and rearranged them so nicely! My clothes? Shoes? Bags? Books? Oh dear...
5) When are you arriving back in Malaysia?
28 June. I'll be heading to KL for sure and am planning to reunite with my ex-roommates in Singapore and hopefully will be going to Hong Kong or Japan for some vacation time with mr. boyfriend as we embark on LDR *sigh*.
6) Will you return to the US?
OF COURSE. At the very least, for vacation. There are still SO MANY places that I haven't been to yet! Disneyworld? Niagara Falls? Yale? Stanford? Texas? So people, I'll be back to visit you guys so expect me!
Any other questions??

LIM-1170th most common surname in US
Is your surname amongst the 5000 most common surnames in the US?
Smith is #1, Garcia is #8, Lee is #22 (although Lee is not a purely Chinese surname...even Americans and Koreans have the surname Lee), Nguyen is #57, Kim is #109, Chen is #260!

jordin sparks in a disastrous dress during american idol finale results show
She was 17 when she won American Idol, so she's 18 now.
Someone (American Idol wardrobe stylist or Jordin's wardrobe stylist or herself!) should have known better than to dress her up like a 6-year-old. Seriously.
And the color? Omigosh beyond gawdy! Metallic gold? Come on!
I think Jordin Sparks is really pretty and although she's full-figured (wa so politically correct!), she was always dressed flatteringly well in American Idol 6. So what is this??? Two words--disaster zone!

it's so hard to leave in a few weeks
I will be leaving US on June 26, 2008.
I wanted to stay a little longer than my parents and visit more places that I have not been to yet but I'll have no more $$$ by the end of my West Coast trip with my parents so I guess I gave up on that idea.
When will I return?

female Hitler
I look like damn f***ing Hitler now.
yes, look like shit still have to show off my nails. the green strap was given when we signed a waiver form saying that we do not hold the school responsible for any accidents or injuries...
And this was how I looked before the whole debacle:
my A|X sunglasses (current one till I break it like I always do!) and mr. boyfriend...while in line to get our free jamba juices! jamba juice is soooo freaking awesomely delicious!
And this is how "kesian"/"kelian" I look now: T_______T
yes, skin scrapped off right above my lips and under my nose. damn painful k!!! I was completely numb from my nose down to my chin for a really looooooong time! and my lips are cut inside because banged against my enormous teeth so it's swollen as well...
Where it all happened:
The Bungee Run:
What is Bungee Run?
BUNGEE RUN (35 feet long)
Two person race down an inflatable runway to see who can place the Velcro pad the farthest while being attached to bungee cords.
And this is the object that went flying smack right at my face.
before the incident when everything was still fine and dandy and I did not look like Hitler.
Yes, my roommate literally flew smack right at my face when her bungee cord pulled her and my face was in the way of her trajectory.
AAAAAAAARRRRGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Talk about bad timing! Not that there's every a good time to look like Hitler....but convocation is coming up soon!
How am I supposed to graduate looking like this? OMG the tragedy!
*sigh* must do everything in my power to make sure it doesn't scar...or at least doesn't scar a lot...it's already starting to harden and form that layer of brown scab.
*SOB*
It hurts at every twitch and movement of my face...
time for some beauty sleep to make up for the Hitler moustache...

Why do people commit themselves to things that they are not committed to?
I think I need one of these...

Solar bra brings conservation closer to the heart
Reuters - Wednesday, May 14 10:49 am
TOKYO (Reuters Life!) - Ladies, take your battle for the environment a little closer to your heart with a solar-powered bra that can generate enough electric energy to charge a mobile phone or an iPod .
Lingerie maker Triumph International Japan Ltd unveiled its environmentally friendly, and green colored, "Solar Power Bra" on Wednesday in Tokyo which features a solar panel worn around the stomach.
The panel requires light to generate electricity and the concept bra will not be in stores anytime soon, said Triumph spokeswoman Yoshiko Masuda, as "people usually can not go outside without wearing clothes over it."
But it does send the message of how lingerie could possibly save the planet, Masuda said, adding that the bra should not be washed or sunned on a rainy day to avoid damaging it.
Being eco-friendly is now fashionable in Japan, and the "Solar Energy Bra" follows the company's other green-themed undergarments that include a bra that turns into a reusable shopping bag and one that featured metal chopsticks to promote the use of reusable chopsticks.
"It is very comfortable and I can really feel involved in eco-friendly efforts as well," model Yuko Ishida said.

victoria secret shopping
Victoria Secret is really an evil corporation who really knows how to manipulate the female population into spending lots of money! I mean, seriously, how many kinds of bras do we really need??? Victoria Secret just launched their Semi-Annual Sale and I already have more than $100 worth of stuff in the shopping cart *sigh* what to do?
Victoria's Secret Angels Karolina Kurkova, Tyra Banks (ex) , Heidi Klum, Gisele Bundchen (ex), Adriana Lima, at the Victoria's Secret 2006 fashion show on December 1, 2006 at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood, California.
Just last week, my roommate and I combined our purchases so we can get free shipping (only for purchases over $100!) and the items just arrived today.
I was...disappointed. Sorely so, because I was really looking forward to the cardigans since mr. boyfriend lost my favorite cardigan (the one that Xian and I bought together) while we were out shopping--the irony! And the cardigans were really disappointing!
Orig. $49. Clearance $12.99.
I bought this color:
It's a lot shorter than I thought. Apparently, my roommate knew it was cropped, but it most certainly does not look cropped in the picture! I even bought a S, instead of XS, but it was still very small.
Orig. $48. Clearance $13.99.
I bought this color:
It's a lot bigger than I thought and I bought this in XS and I completely look like ah ma wearing this! And the color's very jarring. So I look like ah ma in a very bright cardigan!
Orig. $25. Sale $9.99.
I bought this color:
This one's just OK. I have not decided whether I like it enough to keep it.
So yes, I've decided to return the 2 cardigans (and possibly the polo tee too). Have to pay to return the items but I'd much rather do that. I really do not like the cardigans.
I think I'll just stick with Victoria Secret bras and undies.

dresses I did not buy
But someone should really stop me from buying more clothes because that would mean that I have more stuff to bring back to Malaysia!
I love this black cocktail dress. Everyone should have a LBD (little black dress) that is classy elegant and can be used for several different occasions. Unfortunately, this dress is not extremely flattering if you're endowed in the mid-section area *sigh*.
I need need need to find a pretty sweet spring/summer dress to wear for my convocation! However, all the dresses this season are in bold colors and prints...sadness!

"fairy tales"
On our anniversary, we woke up and went to classes. I had given him a card the night before. Before he came home, I baked him his favorite banana bread. I knew the banana bread was not going to turn out very good because the bananas were not even ripe but I had no other choice. He said it was delicious anyways. Instead of dressing up and going to a fancy restaurant, we decided to go to Penang Restaurant and we had kangkung belacan (which was tad too sweet), panggan stingray (which was his favorite), crispy soft-shell crab (which was surprisingly extremely delicious) and mee goreng (which was TOOOOoooooooo sweet). And no, I did not take any pictures like a blogger should. Crap, no pictures from our 2nd anniversary, I just realized. Sadness. We had my favorite bubble tea (frothy and delicious!) from Saint Alps Teahouse. Then, I made him go to Walgreens with me to get me a card for our anniversary. Which he did and he chose quite a cute card. Instead of going to the movies, we decided to be cheap and rent a movie to watch at home and he obliged to my choice of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. It was full of blood and gore and a lot of high-pitched singing in British accent which we did not get. Then we went to bed.
The end.

l.o.v.i.n.g y.o.u
Wow. Has it really been 2 years already?
Every day together is a celebration.
A celebration of what we share and a celebration of what we treasure.
It's not about celebrating the date.
It's about celebrating how far along we've come.
There will always be struggles and arguments.
Therefore, we celebrate us despite of.
Despite of the falls, we chose to find our standing ground again.
Despite of the downs, we chose to continue loving each other.
Loving you may not be the easiest thing in the world.
But loving you is the best thing in the world.
